Hey guys! I hope summer is treating everyone well so far because I am definitely enjoying the sun. Having been in L.A. for the past few days, I have been so inspired by the artistic aura this city oozes. I also hiked up a trial that overlooked the whole city, located right behind the famous HOLLYWOOD sign!
After our hike, we stopped by MILK to get some ice cream because the heat was actually unbearable. The line was extremely long, but the ice cream was definitely worth the wait!
The Blu Jam Cafe is located on Melrose Avenue, where you can shop at a lot of vintage thrift stores and other interesting things like that! The graffiti along the streets of Melrose were also very refreshing.
This was my first time eating at the Boiling Crab! I can't believe I waited this long to try it, but I am so glad I did because I am absolutely in love with that place! Since the long was extremely long as always, we decided to get take-out, which was a much faster alternative. We watched a movie and just relaxed at home after being out all day.
L.A. is definitely the city of hopes and ambition, a place where dreamers gather to achieve their goals. It gives off such a different vibe from NorCal and it is just really nice to switch it up sometimes and experience something new. This makes me wonder whether I will be able to adapt to New York, where everything and everyone is much more fast-paced than it is here in California. I just think that it is time for me to stand on my own and explore. I came across a quote from a book I have been reading, and it was "Be a traveler, not a tourist." I hope to accomplish my goal of backpacking in Europe soon! I'm excited for what the future holds for me :) L.A, I will be back!
