He's just a Wallflower.

Today was the second day of school, and so far college has been...not exactly what I had expected. Initially, I thought it was going to be easy leaving home and family, but it really has been hard for me to adjust New York life/college life. Talking to my family on the phone is the best way to relax for me now rather than going out and partying like everyone else is doing. My classes have been amazing and I have met so many nice people! I'm just really scared for winter to hit New York because I will definitely not be able to withstand the weather with the one coat that I currently own. Good thing I am going shopping this weekend! My schedule is pretty spaced out, so I have an hour or two in between each of my classes, which gives me some time to relax and listen to music. I really really miss California and all my friends back home, but I need to prove to myself that I can do this even without my strongest support systems. It is weird to see how differently people from the East Coast interact with others compared to people on the West Coast. Aside from struggling to adjust emotionally, I am definitely enjoying the freedom that I am having in college.

I am super SUPER excited for Vampire Weekend on the 20th! Going to be seeing them perform at the Barclays Center in NYC and that is going to be my first concert! I have dedicated my concert virginity to VW....totally worth it though!

Trying to get used to college is really damn difficult, but at the end of the day, it's what you make of the experience. I choose not to be sad and grumpy, and simply enjoy the time I have here. I'm sure everything will turn around as soon as I start opening myself to new doors and embrace uncertainty. Surprisingly, it hasn't been as cold as I thought it would be in New York yet! I'm actually kind of looking forward to the cold weather and to seeing some snow.

Love Always,

We don't sleep when the sun goes down ☾

I feel like Aladdin lol

This outfit is kind of ridiculously weird, but I actually really like it LOL. It is the perfect summer outfit for a casual day out or for going to the beach. The graphic tank is very on trend for the summer and gives off a very California-esque vibe. The turban was a last minute add-on, and I'm glad I incorporated it into this outfit. I like to put my own unique twist on something that is generally ordinary and simple. It's weird to realize that I have had this blog for almost 5 months now. That may not be a long time to some people, but for me, the 5 months I have dedicated to this blog has been a truly refreshing and rewarding experience. Being able to connect with others who share common interests with me through fashion and my personal style has been a pleasure. So thank you guys so much for supporting and reading!
Make sure to take a minute to go to my Lookbook page and fan me/ hype my looks!
Though the summer is about to come to an end, remember never let the positive vibes end and be sure to carry them on with you to wherever you will go.

Love always,

☁ Heaven is a place on Earth with you ☼

This summer has literally dashed by, and I will be starting my first year in college in less than two weeks! Knowing who I will be rooming with and things like that are making me more excited to begin school. OH AND I HAVE REALLY EXCITING NEWS! I'm going to Morocco for my birthday/Christmas break this year! I am soooo excited and cannot wait to get there already. Hopefully, I will be able to blog and take lots of pictures for you guys! Not only that, but I will also be going to London afterwards with my sister and explore the city on our own! I'm sad that my summer is almost over and I haven't really done anything memorable, but I am really glad I was able to spend lots of time with some of my best friends that I will miss a lot when I go to NY :( I'm also glad that fall and winter is coming up, and I can finally pull out my chunky sweaters and long sleeve shirts to combat the hostile New York weather.

Love always,
