nobody said it was easy

I find it extremely hard to pull together an outfit that is both weather appropriate and comfortable in Taiwan. It is so humid and hot here that I feel like I am sweaty all the time. This outfit is breathable and perfect for a casual day out with some friends.

June 5th was my mom's 54th birthday, so we had dinner at a panoramic restaurant on the 85th floor of Taipei 101. The view was breathtaking as we overlooked the whole city of Taipei while enjoying our delicious four course meals. Family always comes first, and I just wanted to remind everyone to always appreciate the love that our family unconditionally provides us with. Treasure the time you have with them because you never know where you will be in a few years. It's definitely been hard on my family with me living in NY, my sister in LA, and my parents in Taiwan. Having to travel across the globe simply to reunite with my family has made me realize that I need to take advantage of every moment I've got with my family.

Love Always,
Eric

OOTD: Written in the Stars

My throat is burning, I can't breathe through my nose, and I can't stop coughing. I. WANT. TO. KILL. MYSELF. I hate being sick! This BS better end before prom....I am actually really excited for prom! AP testing is pretty much the last thing I need to study before high school ends...after that, I AM DONE WITH SCHOOL. Yesterday was the last home game of the season, and I am sad to leave the team and all the people I have spent the past 4 months with during practice every day! I will miss badminton and hopefully, I will be able to play in college! Everything is official, New York it is! I am ecstatic with my decision and excited to finally be able to pursue my dreams!

Thanks for reading and have a wonderful Wednesday!

OOTD: Star Spangled Banner

The Americano trend has been a popular one for a long time, but I just wanted to bring it back today in the spirit of  the weather finally feeling more like spring. This outfit is super comfortable and casual for hanging out with friends or just school.

Met up with my best friend today to get coffee and just caught up with each other because I haven't seen him in like a month! We were sad that this may be one of the last few times we'll be able to walk aimlessly and talk and just have nothing to worry about. College is approaching and we are on the opposite side of the country in terms of the geography of the colleges we'll be attending. I look forward to college, but at the same time, I am really going to miss my friends. And as much as I hate to admit it, I think I am actually going to miss this boring old town.

Thanks for reading and have a nice day!
-Eric
